No forum is complete without a pets topic!! Post pictures of your pets and what they are like here. I have quite a few pets but for now I'll share with you a few pictures of my dogs.
This is my oldest dog, Rufus. He's 12 years old and I've had him since I was 4. He has always been very friendly to everybody and very rowdy but, has slowed down being so old. He is also stubborn as a mule!! ______________________________________________________________________
This picture shows our puppy, Sadie, taking a bath in a 5 gallon bucket! She is only a year old and already takes after Rufus in rowdiness and barking at EVERYTHING. When you go to pet her, the corners of her mouth go up like she smiling and instead of wagging her tail, she wiggles her whole body!! Funniest thing I've ever seen my dogs do. ______________________________________________________________________
Last but certainly not least, this is Sophie, our most loyal and trustworthy dog (Sadie has squeezed behind Sophie in an attempt to hide from the camera). The story goes, when we had to go to Oklahoma in order to take care of my grandmother's house after she died, her house was infested with squirrels!!! We had guys from the local animal pound come with traps to catch and relocate the squirrels. After the squirrels were caught we had to go to the pound to pay for the service. We decided to look at the animals there and we saw this one puppy curled up looking at us with the most melancholy eyes you've ever seen. A worker at the pound opened the gate and picked the puppy up by the ear like it was no more than a piece of meat. My mom was very upset and took the pup from the workers arms. My mom fell in love with that poor puppy and we all felt sorry for her so we took her home. The rest is history and to this day she has been loyal and protective to our family, knowing that we saved her from being put down at the pound. One more thing about her, she doesn't just bark at anything. If someone comes to the door or there is heavy activity in front of our house, she will bark, which is a good time to be barking. And if someone she didn't know where to jump the wall into our yard she would tear them to pieces, but if one of our family members where to open the gate and let someone in she would be ok with that. Very smart dog to say the least. ____________________________________________________________________

She was so scared she couldn't move so I got my camera!
